Colour Swatches

Due to the many variations in monitors and browsers, AST’s ranges of colour swatches on the website may appear different on diverse monitors in comparison to the actual swatch colours in real life. Computer monitors are not all calibrated equally and colour reproduction on the Internet is not precise.

Since it is not possible to guarantee our website’s swatch colours will look the same on all monitors, we do not guarantee that what you see accurately portrays the colour of the actual colour of the floorboards.

It is highly recommended that you order an offcut sample first, before placing the order for your floorboards with your preferred retailer. Colours can be verified by ordering a complimentary offcut sample from our website. After you receive your offcut sample, keep in mind that even the actual sample can have minimal colour variations from the finished product as stated by Australian Select Timbers.

Products & Samples

Due to the limited size of this sample displayed or provided, it is to be used as an indication only and cannot be considered to be a true representation of a complete floor. Variations to both the natural and artificial characteristics of this product are to be expected between individual samples as well as manufactured batches. These variations may include but are not limited to colour, grain, knots and fillers – these are not considered to be defects.

As a natural timber product, knots will be present, as well as the use of black and/or coloured fillers. Characteristics such as filler colour and timber grading will be specific to individual products and ranges.

Timber flooring is not colour-fast. The colour of your timber floor will change over time when exposed to UV light.

Prior to purchasing any product, Australian Select Timbers recommends consumers view all of the relevant documentation such as technical datasheets, test certificates, as well as warranty, installation and maintenance guidelines, which can be found on this website.
